How to Play

Place your pieces according to their individual movement rules. The Commander can only move one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Guards must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Ministers move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot jump over pieces. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, acting as powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must require a screen piece to capture exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Think ahead your moves carefully to defeat the computer opponent.
